There's one consideration I didn't think of till now: The spindle you ordered will be JIS taper, but the thickness of the taper may be different than your older crank requires. I encountered that problem when mounting a new crank on an old (80's?) spindle. The crank wouldn't slide far enough onto the taper. For that reason, you may be better off with Bill's product, which is specifically made for Sugino cranks. Since you've already ordered the Sunlite, you may be able to check the fit and return if it's wrong.

The other option: any new JIS crank should fit a new JIS spindle like the Sunlite.
