I think one may be able to take off the stock 2.00 tires and install narrower tires. Not sure, though. Nothing on the Giant website about this important point. Maybe the warranty is voided if one swaps out the 2.00 tires...
Probably wouldn't want to go narrower than 40mm tho, to keep it as an adventure/tail bike.
I'd consider doing that if the stock tires wear down later.
