Wheel hubs are simple. If it's not rubbing something (brakes/mudguard) and it's not something else vibrating... (mudguard, reflector), then take a look at the hubs. Often times new shimano hubs are built FAR too tightly. Does the axle turn freely when not on the bike? Rebuild the hub if you think it's a problem.
