I haven't ridden for a week and I need to prep for the 50 km ride for heart in 2 weeks. The distance is no problem, but I don't want to be too slow for my peeps. I'm in poorer shape than usual due to a delayed spring and a sore knee that seems healed now. I would have signed up for 75 km but my son is bringing his fiancee and we worried it would be too much for her as an occasional pleasure cyclist, but now I wonder if I will be the slow one.
Anyway I was working out of town this past week and I did at least get in a couple of days of 2-4 miles of walking.
It's a long weekend so I'll try to catch up on at least the missed 110 km of commuting miles.
