Barn storage in Oregon is nearly the ideal setting for rust growth.
The last time I bought a bike this rusty (a 1977 Gitane Gypsy Sport), the only parts I used were the frame fork and headset (minus the bearings, obviously). I threw everything else in a box.
At least the Clubman has plastic derailleurs.
