DK - Cheating with support

Old-Fashioned Cheating | RKP

Funny to say, I know riders at Almanzo 100 did the same thing, having a friend meet them on course with food and water. I just shake my head. I've done a number of gravel centuries, and I rarely take support at the race organized check points. I'm getting ready to ride the Westside Dirty Benjamin tomorrow, riding to and from the event. It'll get up to 90F, and I don't expect to stop at the check points. I'll have to see how the four 22 oz water bottles hold up to the heat. IMHO that's that point of self-support gravel races. But none of this really maters to me, I'm so far from the top 10, I could care less about all this noise.
