And who said bike manufacturers will not work with you?

Just when I had about giving up on finding a great road bike with disc brakes, I found out Litespeed will custom make a road bike that will accept disc brakes. Yahooo.

The way Litespeed works is they have a charge for disc brake dropouts and a charge for customizing the frame. BUT these charges are not additive. For one charge you can get both. For custom you can either complete their form and let them design the custom frame for you, or give them the specs you desire.

2006 New Year's Resolutions

1. Figure out ideal custom bike:
what's the base? Blue Ridge, Ultimate, other?
What are best aero wheels?
Does an aero fork make any sense?

2. Build case for super duper Christmas bike next year............
