Friday - I just did a quick little 50 miler on the Greg LeMond Ventoux to see how well I've got it sorted out for comfort. It felt pretty good for the must part cushy but some of the bigger hits could be felt all through the frame without being harsh, if that makes sense. I think I've got the tilt on the Brooks saddle pretty much right. I see no reason I couldn't add this into the rotation with the rest of my century riders now.
Crazy fat GP 4000s II in 700 x 28 actually fit on this, barely.
I was debating upgrading this bike to a modern groupset but everything works well. This first gen brifters shift up 3 cogs with a very light action, loving them even if the hoods are a bit lacking for comfort.
