I'm fairly certain that the fork is original but since I'm not the original owner, I can't be 100%. The half an ounce of common sense that I have was telling me not to drill this frame. Most of the feedback on this thread confirms that I shouldn't do that. I'm still hoping that someone who is more of a subject matter expert on Gazelles will know what the original brakes were and chime in.
