Stated to be "anti-theft" but advises on its main page to just "arm the device and walk away", though it does advise using a good lock in some of the other pages.

It seems to me that this device won't inhibit theft much. Alarms won't stop someone from throwing it into the back of a pickup and fleeing. Perhaps the value is related to the potential recovery; however, given that it takes just a few minutes to remove the device and ditch it, will it really work?

Also, the price is higher than my investment in my favorite bike, which I use as a daily commuter.

Bottom line: Costly gimmick of doubtful worth.

They present no testing info and offer no guarantee (yeah, I know these are generally worthless).
