I ve looked at the bighit sport and its pretty burly. Its a totally different design than the comp however.

I dont know, the bike looks kind of cheesy, with fairly low end parts. Have you heard of a Mozo fork, or X-Fusion shock? If so are they any good. Im not sure about the frame. It looks burly....

Tell me if Im wrong, but wouldn't going with a p2 be a better idea for a freeride bike for 150 bucks less?
