Rx100 compatibility questions
Hello everybody I am new to this forum and this is my first post and I have a couple of questions. My first question is I have a trek 1100 7 speed with RX100 shifters and derailleur I want to go from paddle shifters on the bottom part of the frame (sorry if my language is not correct I am new to this sort of thing)shifters that are built into the brakes (not sure what they're called but whatever). I was wondering if I could put any Shimano 105 shifters on the bike, I know my bike has 7 gears but is it still possible? And if not can you just have an empty click in the shifter, is that a problem? My bike also has three ygears in the front I don't know if that makes any difference or not.
