I've been experimenting with an SJ4000 camera. Have done some videos (including the one above), but now have switched it to shoot one photo every five seconds (still frame). I have hacked a way of attaching a camera to a Citi Bike, by zip-tying a selfie-stick to the bike's cargo carrier...

And I found a shop that still sells these older selfie sticks, and bought a spare...
EDIT:
The point being, if the selfie stick has a groove in it, for the wire, it can NOT be rotated... The smooth one now comes with a Bluetooth Fob, to open the shutter wirelessly.
