A bit out of my depth, but to me that sounds like a nice way to set it up if you are keeping it. For selling, I would be worried about recouping those upgrade costs, unless you are stripping a crashed donor bike or something. Even then I'm not so sure, if the goal is to maximize profit.
i've been offered a pair of Sora 9 speed brifters for 30$.. i think i could make it worth it. i just don't know if i should replace more parts, brakes, crankset etc?
