welcome to the forums...
White Oak is a great MUP...you don't really have to know the trail... just pick a spot to start at ride until you want to turn around and go back to your vehicle...
I rode that area almost every weekend for a year when I lived down that way, used to start at the T.C. Jester Park ride north to the end, turn around and go south to 11th street and then back north to the park...they have added to it some since I rode there and I hear that you can go all the way to downtown now...not sure about that...
The loop section at Allen Parkway is not too bad, but the area around the dog park is a pain in the butt...and if you are not there real early, the joggers/walkers are too numerous...
I did not like the Braeswood MUP, parts are pretty rough and lots of street crossings...
