Unlike some others on this forum, I'm not put off by a respray or powder coat, especially if it's a bike I intend to keep and ride. If that's the case here, as Merziac said, if you can buy it, go for it.
Spectrum paint is as good as it gets...there is no question.

To me...it's not the right era paint/logos. There is no right/wrong, it's just individual valuations. I firmly agree with the other posts above that if you're going to keep the bike for a while, don't worry as much about cost. It's almost sure to be a wonderful, well built bike.

I don't think I;ve seen your Sachs rccr...share?
