Sturmey Archer IGH 3 speed Reliability

I've been researching the reliability of new Sturmey Archer Hubs. There are a lot of comments about the reliability of the old AW hubs. For the newer hubs many people seem to believe that the quality really went downhill when Sun Race bought them and moved the manufacturing to Taiwan. While some others actually think the quality has improved under Sun Race. I couldn't really find very much on this after about 2007 so I am wondering about the more recent production. I'm particularly interested in the 3 speeds without brakes such as the SR-RF3. Any experience with these?
