I'm specifically looking to use this bike for winter commuting/general foul weather but I figure I'd post it here because any relevant information would be useful.
I found this Schwinn High Plains on craigslist, listed for $85 but I got it down to $70. Does anyone know anything about this bike? I can't find any information about it. High end? Low end? Really bad? Good deal? Bad deal? Basically $70 seems like a fine deal on almost any bike that isn't going to immediately fall apart, but I don't really know anything about these things. If anything knows anything specific about this bike otherwise, or has ever had one or ridden one, let me know, the internet is pretty blank on the matter. In my situation $70 is "kind of a lot of money", so I'm basically just looking for a second opinion. Please provide!
