No. Not for what you described. Do precisely what I recommended above. Used. Steel. Rigid fork. 26" wheels. Quick release front and rear. Don't spend over $175. Re-pack all bearings. Learn to ride it. Know your size and don't accept anything that's not right. Save your money for something better until you're fully grown. Listen to me. You'll thank me in 6 years...
