I'll admit, though, that I've only had my current (Surly) setup up to 42mph or so(*). Even my BMC tops out at 50x11, and I've only had that one up to 47mph (*). I'm not really sure I'll ever spin fast enough to need the 53. I'm a LOT more certain I'll need the 39x32, though. I'm hoping to have everything setup in time for Cranksgiving, I think the Yak is really a must for that sort thing.

*) While wearing a fully loaded pack in both cases. I didn't want to wreck my self or my laptop...
