Back 40 years ago, just after I had bought the bike, I used automotive pinstripe tape at the delineation of my Fuji S-10S's paint/chrome socks breaks. 1/16" white
and black stripes. It is still there. BUT those are straight lines. The lugwork is still outlined/highlighted in the original gold paint as well. I don't mess with 'perfection'...
like you couldn't guess that I still love my old Fuji...)
