yup thatl be good. the trailboss is a great tire, its limitations only show when you start to get real crazy. the trailblazer is like a jacked up nano which is a favorite for mixed terrain skinny bikes and xc bikes. thatl be a nice zippy combo

they got me thru my arizona trip with only a single tiny sidewall puncture going 30mph down a scree field of jagged limestone. that wouldve happened to any tire, theyre very burly

also: dont put 50mm rims on it especially if youre riding in rock gardens (rocks will scrape the **** out of your rims). the flotation is cool but the tire profile from a 35-45mm rim makes the bike more playful, handling and traction is more predictable and you can really rail it. plus you still get boatloads of surface area with 2.8-3" tires even on a 20mm rim. and yaknow, lighter is better and all that.

that being said: i have a pair of scraper rims brand new if youre interested, lol.
