For good or ill, the Raysport was ahead of its time in terms of international cooperation. I believe the original bikes were built circa 1974. My humble efforts are an homage to the 1949 Raleigh Lenton Model 29, which I'm sure I've mentioned here before. Since I cannot have the real thing, I'm going to build my own idealized interpretation.

Better this than taking a Raleigh Sports and festooning it with modern alloy parts, no?
