I usually don't have any cycling goals for the season ... I just let things happen as they come. So far, that's worked out well.

I agree with this goal. Normally my overall goal is to ride when I can; my weekly goal being 5 workouts, a combination of running and cycling Oct thru Apr, and cycling May thru Sept. I never know how much I will travel for work, and that travel affects my training for the California Triple Crown doubles.
