Now that's some add copy. I'd like to meet the person who sweats so badly, their panniers need to be waterproof.

To actually add something to the discourse here...the Nashbar Euro panniers, even though they have a weird shape that you might not love, attach with a hook and flat webbing (and come with rain covers, to boot). I broke a hook after something like 3 months of commuting on it; I bought a Jandd split hook, and with a little sewing of the webbing to take up the difference in length, used it to replace the broken one.
