I tried City Bicycle Works. Someone tried the post in a vice, but it wouldn't budge. ( I tried that too) That tech referred me to a machine shop, and said it can be done by honing it out (sounds pricey).
I stopped over at Mike's Bikes after, and they have it right now. They are soaking the post with some lubricants. I will hopefully get a good news phone call today!
