It's got 4GB of RAM in it and an SSD now, so it isn't a total slug. But you can only do so much with dual 1GHz cores. Over time, I have run Arch, Debian, Mint Debian Edition (probably one of my all-time favorites), openSUSE, Ubuntu MATE, and Xubuntu on it. Currently, I have Xubuntu with jwm as the desktop. It is my travel, take-on-the-bike, and gee-that-lenovo-is-too-big-for-my-lap machine. My coworkers get a kick out of me rolling to meetings with it.
