I remembered the Specialized hubs- and know that Super Champion labels seem to come off when you don't want them to.
I need to do the same thing as well... I went as far as asking for some values on the bikes I don't ride so much... but wussed out. It's always that thing of "when am I ever going to run into an 84 Stumpjumper again?"
