Slough's 260 Race St, San Jose, CA 95126: This is an experience....a warren of a shop with mix of new and old, sometimes good used bikes. owner has huge knowledge, rides carbon (race oriented) and has curmudgeon moments. The shop has a stash of old/nos stuff. No web site. Not far from best falafel stand in the country
Silvas Cycles:
Silva Cycles bit hard to find in odd spot with a ton of car repair business around. Good guys, good stock of little things, Rivendell dealer, build frames, Unicycle specialist. Don't typically have many used bikes, but call you never know.
