The serial number shows the Custom Maxima frame was made in 1984, so it's either an '84 or '85 year model. This bike was near the low end of the Univega road bike line.

I think the Super Ten is earlier. If the serial number starts with an 'H' then it's a 1979, an 'I' and it's a 1980, etc. It's also near the bottom of the Univega road bike hierarchy but not the ver bottom. The frame is listed (in the 1978 catalogue) as being 'light steel tubing' so I guess it's not even hi-ten steel. All that said, Univega made good bikes for the money, and with some clean up and tuning those could be good casual rider bikes.

You can get a lot of that superficial rust off with dampened aluminum foil.
