Why does that surprise you? Survey any group of bicycle riders regarding motorists. I'm sure you will get the similar answers. Keep in mind that most bike riders are also motorists so we are talking about ourselves. On any ride you are likely to encounter hundreds of drivers who treat you respectfully. You seldom notice them because that's what you expect. Let one dirt bag pass you a little too closely and that's the jerk who you'll remember all day.
