Its beginning bike Touring season out here , the Fed Ex guy is showing up more often.
But , the shop does not use that scheme to ship out*, so the customer has to do the arrangements for pick up.
and those costs.
LBS will box it up , and apply customer printed label.
*UPS business to business , say another bike shop in your hometown, or residence..
is what is used if you don't sort out the other on your own.
