Well, the leather can be replaced, but it cannot be repaired.

Sometimes you can find leather tops of that type on eBay that you can rivet on. Usually from India. They are cheap, but I am not sure which sense of the word "cheap" I'm using. Honestly I'm not even sure they're leather.

I can replace the leather for you with real thick leather, but alas I'm not cheap. Those wide saddles are challenging. I don't like to ride on them, don't understand the aesthetic, and don't quite get what they're supposed to feel like.
