Sunday -- Testing the Rain Gear!

Rain jacket ... good in a light mist, but that's about it. Sadly. It is an old favourite purchased about 14 years ago.
Rain pants ... excellent
Gortex boots ... not bad
Rain gloves ... excellent
Rain helmet cover ... good

We knew it was going to be chilly (about 10C) and wet, but we decided to go for a ride anyway. One of the things that kind of surprised us a bit were the number of other cyclists out there. But not much in the way of pedestrians! It was chilly and wet ... rained for probably 75% of the ride, but for the most part, we were reasonably comfortable.

We stopped at the Red Wall, for a few photos ...

Gotta love the way my helmet cover looks when I've got a helmet light!
