I have a 105 front downtube shifter with issues. It seems to have one "detent" and no real stops to its' travel either direction. When the shifter is in its one detented (is that a word?) position, it is not parallel to the downtube, but points up slightly. It operates the derailleur fine, but it's very annoying that it does not stop and line up with the down tube and rear shifter.
Any thoughts or ideas?
