The ThudBuster is not, AFAIK, available separate from the seatpost. There is a lot of stress on the joint between the suspension part and the post. See attached image of one of my TBs which failed, possibly due to salt in the Chicago winter. Rider's weight (~210 including backpack) may also have been a factor, though is within rated limits.

It's also likely that the saddle attachment on the pump post is not amenable to replacement (can't say; haven't seen).
