The eyelet to eyelet measurement is really important on thos, but if its a common measurement, there are plenty of old mtb's out there that might need a new shock.

My old Santa Cruz has a very similar shock, -- its an 02 or 03 model, -- and i see plenty of older rigs like mine still running around the trails. Shocks like the ones you have are perfect for the guy with an old bike who just wants to keep it running, provided it fits
