For a pump to carry along on my bike, I'd have to go with a manual hand pump. Seems like simpler is better and no need to find a place to recharge it. What happens if you forget to recharge and you're out on the road with a flat tire and no way to inflate it? Plus it seems like a manual pump has fewer parts to potentially break down. And without a battery and motor a manual pump would weigh a lot less.

You're on a bike for exercise, might as well exercise your arms, too.
