Answer doesn't quite make sense.


He must have thought you wanted to use thru-axle wheels. Those require threads in fork and frame.


The hubs are regular Quick-release hubs.
Meaning the frame/fork dropouts are made for regular quick-releases too.
They'll take nutted axles w/o problems.


For the hubs, I can't say.
It looks like here: https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/WPGIROE...-disc-wheelset that they'd use traditional threaded hollow axles and cup & cone bearings.
In which case all you have to do is pull the current axles out and replace with solid ones with the right length and thread.
Might still be some other design. A set of cartridge BBs lurking in there requiring proprietary axles.


Either way, getting a set of keyed Quick-release skewers will be easier.


Haven't used them myself, but these are supposed to be rather good.
