I'm 5'10 or so riding a 18" frame. Can't speak on the 22" frame but I can say I love my 2018 FX S4.

I ordered it in early August and took delivery of it in mid August. The heat was insane the week I got it (106 +) but managed a few rides in the late evening, then Hurricane Harvey hit (live in Austin) so had a week of almost no riding as the bike trails I ride on are also in the flood plains. I finally got some mileage this past labor day weekend. Everything on this bike is great.

The brakes are solid and the gearing has everything I need. Seat so far hasn't bothered me but I haven't hit 20+ miles on a single time yet so time will tell. A slight gripe is the stock grips are slippery without gloves on. I may swap those out soon but overall I love it. As for the geometry - it's a bit more "aggressive" compared to the other Hybrids. Riding this and hoping on my road bike for comparison (2010 Trek 2.1) I feel I'm almost in the same riding position just with 32 tires and a flat bar.

Hope this helps.
