Folding bikes are so idiosyncratic, I always recommend spending some time with them first before purchase if at all possible. What could be a fantastic feature for one person could be a dealbreaker for another.
Ease of fold, speed of fold, quality of folding bits, frame quality, parts quality, does it roll when folded or do you have to pick it up and carry it, does it stay together in the folded position (magnets, velcro straps etc) or does it flop around, total weight, ability to upgrade parts or are they proprietary to the manufacturer, ability to adjust the bike to your riding preference (say a telescoping stem/handlepost), ability to install racks/bags...these are just some of the things to consider.
