Do you own a sewing machine? I made two for our Bromptons. Used the wide webbing from car seat belts and welcro. You could easily add two D rings to atatch a shoulder strap too.
In response to both of your great suggestions - I'd screw it up, lol. I am the least "crafty" person ever. fortunately, i know my limitations NOW and don't waste money on projects I'll never do
