Friend of mine just shipped his $4000 plastic Cervelo. He must not have removed the rear derailleur or something, because the dropout broke and yup, the plastic dropout is not replaceable. Bikeflights insurance has an exception for dropout breakage. They don't cover it. He's out an entire expensive frame.
