FWIW, I saw somebody selling American Classic Hurricane wheelsets for $400 on a Google shopping search yesterday. Those are the same wheels that come on the Elite at a killer price, assuming they are available with the right axles.
The Elite comes with the Race wheelset, not the Hurricane.
