there are less expensive models from Abus in their Bordo folding link, line, the 6000 is one step lower in cost ,
at a C note, 6 link .. there is an 8 link one also , just a little more reach , around stuff..

but there are lower cost than that too, the security rating and weight go down , but the folding easy to carry pouch,
