I'm not trying to defend the new Wabi business model, but maybe I can help explain what they are doing for the...shall we say...less business minded guys here?

Unless they are independently wealthy and in it just as a hobby - the new owners, and IIRC there are 2 of them who are looking to make a living from the company as opposed to just Richard running it by himself, undoubtedly sunk a lot of money into acquiring and moving Wabi. Perhaps they even had to take on substantial debt to afford the deal. So...they have no choice but to increase business and profits dramatically if they want to survive. Which means expanding their target audience beyond BFSSFG

Are they going about it in the right way? I guess I'll leave it to others (and time) to be judges of that.

And while we are at it...
