I misjudged his distance and speed and turned left in front of him. It was entirely my mistake. He gave me the finger. By the time I saw his gesture, we were past each other, and I couldn't make a "sorry" wave. There's a small difference between a boneheaded move made from misjudgment and one made from not caring or thinking. But sometimes that distinction doesn't matter. I accept his hostility, as I was totally wrong. Lesson learned, I hope.
