This is a Strada model produced in the late 1960's and early 1970's. I had always assumed them to be manufactured in the Chiroda facility but T-Mar has written that because the serial is stamped in the head lug they must have been produced in the Bianchi facility.
Frame is constructed of the Agrati "AM" pattern lugset (ART. 000.8040/U). Head is bulge-formed.
They were sold in department stores, chain stores. Not typically from bike shops.
