Only 8.3 miles which took an hour and a half because I combined it with doing road litter clean-up, plus stopping to chat with neighbors. So lots of starts and stops and stomping on cans to flatten them before bagging them up. Still, it was nice to be on the bike for a quiet, gentle pedal down our quiet, lovely gravel roads after way too many weeks of sub-zero wind chills and single degree weather. Met only one other cyclist who was "walking" his dogs the easy way - letting them run while he biked along. Nice man, very sweet dogs. Several riders on horses out hacking, enjoying the spring-like weather in the low 60s. Tomorrow hope to go for a longer ride since it will be mid-60s. Only have the one day, though, before we plunge back into the deep freeze.
