Thanks! It's new to me, but I would have to guess, "NO" to your question. I rode the thing in the snow the first week I had it, and crossed over an iced over weed-infested creek, and had caught a thorn that required a tube replacement (fine, as the original tires/tubes on this thing weigh a TON!) Guys that run tubeless tires will have much more luck avoiding punctures, I'm sure, but this basic Walmart bike, while fun, is NOT a $5000 Specialized/Salsa/etc... I DID have a lot of upgrades done to this one by a buddy of mine who works on bikes, and had some nice used stuff laying around.
